A SOUTH SHORE GOLF STAPLE Braintree Municipal Golf Course Welcome to Braintree Municipal Golf Course GOLF AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED Braintree Municipal Golf Course offers great golfing at some of the lowest and most competitive rates on the South Shore. The course is located only 2 miles from exit 6 on Rt 128/93/South Shore Plaza. TEE TIMES OUTINGS INSTRUCTION SIMULATORS Experience Braintree Municipal Braintree Municipal Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole layout that will test players of all abilities. The course, which has five sets of tees, can play as long as 6,564 yards with a nice variety of holes, scenery and obstacles. The course originally opened as nine holes in 1932. After it was purchased by the town of Braintree in 1955, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1971. Today, the course remains a good value and popular place to play golf in the Boston area.
