About Poquoy Brook Golf Course

Poquoy Brook boasts an 18-hole championship layout designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the late 1950's and brought to fruition by Tony Marcos and his sons Ray and Rick. Established in 1962 as a premier daily fee facility, the first nine holes were open to the public in 1964 and were followed by the completion of the second nine holes in 1968. In 1992, Poquoy Brook was purchased from Tony Marcos by Charlie Dickow and in 2016, the course changed hands to its current owner, Brian Conefrey. Poquoy Brook has been host to several major state and regional events including qualifiers for the US Senior Open and the 2004, 2006 and 2010 Massachusetts Open Championship. Poquoy has been nationally recognized as one of America's public access courses by GolfWeek and Golf Styles New England magazines and has been rated a "Four Star" facility by Golf Digest. The course, totaling 135 acres, measures 6,762 impressive yards from the longest tees and has a 129 slope and 73.7 rating.
